Our covers

• Professional indemnity insurance
  covers the cost of compensating clients for loss or damage resulting from negligent advice provided by a business or an individual, primarily regarding the design and output or yield of a project.
• Third-party liability
  provides protection for a business for legal liability to pay damages arising out of injury or damage caused to third parties or their property during the performance of the business during the construction and operational phase of a project.
• Marine Cargo insurance
  provides indemnity to cargo owners and/or financiers against financial loss arising as a result of physical loss, damage, expenses incurred or liability from the transportation process, by air, sea and/or land, of cargo from one place to another place.
• Construction & Marine DSU
  covers loss or reduction in revenue as well as increased cost incurred to avoid or minimise such a loss. What it covers is the loss in projected revenue earnings on account of loss or damage during construction/ and or marine transits resulting in delayed commencement of operations.
• Contract All Risks (CAR) & Erection All Risks (EAR)
  provides cover for accidental physical loss or damage to the works under construction, from damage such as fire, storm, lightening, malicious damage, impact, theft on site and/or stored remotely and includes limited cover whilst in transit. Both include the time limited maintenance period required to rectify defects, errors and omissions. CAR cover relates to building works whilst EAR covers the assembly of plant and machinery, including testing and commissioning.
• Operational All Risks
  provides property damage all risks cover including machinery breakdown for damage to project assets. In addition, this policy can be extended to include business interruption.
• Guarantees
  is a professional, third-party opinion of the contractor’s ability to perform and successfully deliver on a specific contract. Various guarantees are available, including Construction, Performance, Operation & Maintenance Guarantees.
• Alternative Risk Transfer (ART)
  is the use of alternative techniques to achieve the same hedging and transfer of risk away from traditional insurance or reinsurance products. ART provides numerous opportunities for business wanting to effectively manage their own risks.
• SASRIA
  short-term insurer providing unique cover against risks such as civil commotion, public disorder, strikes, riots and terrorism. Sums insured are limited and may require additional cover.
• Political, violence, terrorism & riot wrap insurance
  provides additional cover for loss of profits, contingent business interruption & material damage in excess of SASRIA limits, both within in SA and outside its borders. The riot wrap cover also provides cover for exclusions of war, civil war and terrorism which are not covered under SASRIA.
